Nancy's mom sent her a small slip cast teapot that was round with a hole in the middle. I dubbed it the doughnut teapot. The doughnut teapot inspired me to explore this shape with my potter's wheel.
I always love looking at your work. I'll be posting some of mine soon.
You can link to my blog at http://sweetmorning.blogspot.com. I will start posting pics and updates. Mostly pics with commentary. Not much happens around here.
The blue one is my absolute favorite, but the one with the bell reminds me of my grandmother. She loves bells and every year I try to send her one in an original way. This teapot is beyond original. I wonder what you think of while creating such beauty.
My dad once called me a craftsman. I suppose that title fits as well as any. I fancy myself an artist. I have a need to create, discover and problem solve. Pottery and jewelry making allows an outlet for these needs. Sometimes these activities are simply a safe place for me.
